Gentle, Fuss-Free Sun Protection for Kids

EVY Sunscreen Mousse Kids SPF 50 is the ultimate no-fuss sunscreen for children. Developed with EVY’s patented technology, it reinforces the skin’s natural defences while offering long-lasting, high-level protection. This lightweight mousse absorbs quickly, leaves no white cast or greasy feel, and is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin—from 6 months of age.

Benefits
  • Strengthens the skin barrier and penetrates deeply for extended protection.
  • Hypoallergenic and fragrance-free; safe for babies from 6 months old.
  • Water-, sweat-, and towel-resistant to keep up with active kids.
  • Non-sticky, no white cast—easy and enjoyable to apply for kids and parents.
  • Free from alcohol, preservatives, perfume and nanoparticles; vegan and non-comedogenic.

This sunscreen is perfect for parents looking for reliable, gentle, and child-friendly sun protection. Ideal for all-day wear, especially during outdoor play and swimming. Apply generously before sun exposure (golf ball size per area) and reapply regularly, especially after towel drying or water play.

Always apply sunscreen before skin is exposed to sun.

  1. Shake well before use, turn the bottle upside down to ensure that the air pressure is released.
  2. One handful is sufficient for protection for one arm, the size of a golf ball for an adult’s face. Get a size between a hazelnut and a gold ball for a kid\\'s face.
  3. Press the mousse between your hands to a more liquid form.
  4. Spread evenly and generously over the skin. Wait a few minutes until the mousse is dry before swimming or putting on clothes.
  5. Should be non-sticky after 5-10 mins. Otherwise, you may have used too much.
  6. Be gentle in the area around the eyes. You can try applying up to 1-2 cm away from your eyes as the product tends to spread out a bit after application. It works on the lips as well.

Tip: A smaller amount of mousse multiple times is preferable to make the application easier.

Skin types: The dermatologically and allergy tested formula is suitable for all skin types. Due to its moisturising content, it is more suitable to a combination to dry skin. For the whole family and children from 6 months old

Skin concerns: Extremely sensitive skins, including baby's skin from 6 months. For adults, anyone with aging skin, dull and hyperpigmented skin can benefit from this sunscreen.

Texture: Cloudy type foam that transforms into cream after pressing between hands.

Scent: Fragrance free

Very water, sweat and towel/ abrasion resistant.

Key Ingredients

OCTOCRYLENE is a globally approved sunscreen agent that primarily protects skin from UVB light while providing a small amount of UVA protection. It acts as a booster that stabilizes the UVA sunscreen ingredients. Octocrylene is photostable meaning its SPF remains stable after exposure to light. It has been extensively reviewed and is considered safe as used in cosmetics and sunscreens. It does not have endocrine-disrupting properties. It does not mix or dissolve in water. Therefore, it can help add water-resistant properties to sunscreen formulas.

TINOSORB S also known as Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. The most effective broad-Spectrum UV adsorber available. Offers filters across the whole UVA and UVB spectrum. It is photostable and is able to stabilise unstable filters. It is compatible with organic and inorganic filters, and meets high safety requirements and is oil soluble for high water resistance. This ingredient meets the most stringent UV protection requirements around the world for UV protective products, and UVB filters for high-SPF sunscreens.

UVINUL A PLUS also known as Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate /DHHB A photostable organic absorber that covers the long wavelengths of the UVA spectrum and has compatibility with others UV absorbers. It has excellent photostability and protection against free radicals.

AVOBENZONE also known as Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane is a synthetic sunscreen ingredient that provides sun protection in the UVA range. It’s one of the most widely used UVA filters in the world and has been rigorously tested for safety and efficacy.

UVINUL T15O also known as Ethylhexyl Triazone. A very high photostable adsorption of all available UVB filters. Polar which gives it good affinity to the keratin in the skin, which helps sunscreens to adhere to the skin. It has very high stability even to intense UV-exposure.

TOCOPHERYL ACETATE is a form of Vitamin E. A lipid soluble antioxidant that is naturally present in the skin. It has some nice photoprotection properties, meaning it can protect the skin from UV (and in case of Vit E it’s mainly UVB) rays. If you apply it on your skin, it lowers the production of sunburn cells, reduces the damage caused by UVB rays and inhibits photo carcinogenesis. Vitamin E protect the skin from free radicals and promote skin healing to diminish signs of aging. It also provides moisture and strengthens skin’s protective barrier to prevent moisture loss.

GLYCERIN enhances barrier function and reduces the Trans epidermal water loos (TEWL*). It is a moisturizer with long-lasting hydrating action. Trans epidermal water loss occurs when the skin’s protective barrier is damaged or impaired, allowing excess moisture content evaporate from the skin into the atmosphere. The result is dry, dehydrated, and/or irritated skin.

Is there any difference between kids and adult sunscreen protection?

The regular Evy Sunscreen Mousse SPF 30 and Sunscreen Mousse SPF50 contain antioxidants that work well against premature aging. Apart from that, it’s the same formula. The main reason why our children’s products have an adapted formula is to help the market and consumers to more easily identify a product that is suitable for and checked according to children’s needs. The feel of the mousse and the user-friendly formula are the same for all EVY products and can be used from 6 months up. However, we recommend SPF 30 or higher for children under 16 years.

I get sunburn even when I use a high SPF – what am I doing wrong? The fact is, most of us do not use enough sunscreen, or do not apply it often enough, According to dermatologists, on average we use roughly about 1/3 of what they recommend which means you are getting  max 30-40% of the protection so you are ending up only having less than SPF 2 if you are using SPF 30.  Another common mistake is to apply sunscreen after already having spent time in the sun, even if it´s just walking to the beach.  We often misjudge how long we are able to stay in the sun without sunscreen. The sun gets stronger the closer you get to the equator, so even if it is chilly or cloudy, sunscreen is still recommended.

How can EVY be gentle to sensitive skin, yet so reliable?

Thanks to our unique technology, we can use longer lasting and less of active ingredients. Our formula contains about 70 percent water and effectively interacts with the skin, while only containing low levels of other substances. When it comes to allergic reactions, sun filters are usually the culprit. Regulations in different parts of the world are very different, and some contain up to 50% of sun filters. EVY uses low levels of UV filters while at the same time being efficient. You can tell by its fragrance that it is milder than many other sunscreen products. In many cases, the unpleasant smell of sun filters is hidden behind perfumes, which can also cause allergies. Some people are sensitive to both sun filters and perfume, but it might be difficult to establish the exact cause since they all carry a low-risk of causing an allergic reaction. All EVYs products have been dermatologically tested, which means that no subjects experienced any reactions in independent lab tests. EVY does not contain perfumes or preservatives.
